When great art meets a great frame

I just love a great worn out picture frame, when it comes with an oil painting, even better.
The artist captured the flower colours in the vase perfectly, love the detail and natural look of the arrangement. Looks like they have been picked from the garden and then painted. Particularly like the naïve earthy vase sitting on a small patch of greenery. The neutral background allows your eyes to be drawn into the flower arrangement. The warm faded moss green coloured frame just adds the magic to this already nice oil on board.
The frame is perfect in everyway, even down the the years of natural wear and chipping. This really helps produce a lovely piece to hang on the wall.
