French painted glass display cabinet on stand

French painted glass display cabinet on stand with oodles of character and charm...

Valuable and pretty display cabinet....have to admire the cabriole legs as well. Remarkable find as a decorative piece. Where do you place i?

You just cannot help but to get enthusiastic over this gem. Work your way up from the bottom...Beautifully shaped legs supporting the base (comes in two parts). One wide drawer with the glass cabinet sitting on top, both sides have two framed glazed panels, the two serpentine shaped doors (with key ) open up to reveal the old distressed, painted interior. Beautiful!

Lastly you have the serpentine shaped roof capping and integrated cornice trim, as icing, to what is a stunning glazed display cabinet.

Wonderful painted finish...years of character, age and original iron work handles for good measure.

Period: 19th Century, circa 1850's
