This early 19th century English elm six plank coffer chest is a well-proportioned example of Georgian country furniture, combining practical storage with the honest simplicity associated with English vernacular craftsmanship.
Constructed in elm using the traditional six plank method, the chest displays a warm golden colour and attractive natural grain throughout.
