Description
This Antique English Windsor Armchair reveals itself through surface and form rather than ornament. The seat, gently uneven and subtly undulating, carries the quiet record of time—its contours shaped by both hand and use, rather than strict symmetry.
The elm seat shows a pronounced grain structure, with natural fissures, tonal variation, and wear that speak to the life of the timber. Condition

The legs show wear commensurate with age, resulting in a slightly lower seat height. There are historic signs of woodworm to the underside of the seat, long inactive, treated, and stable. Structurally sound.
