A light flamed mahogany George III wine table - An elegant Georgian design with a rectangular top with chamfered corner edge detail and a bobbin turned tripod base.
You don't often see them in a light flamed mahogany as they are usually darker. What is particularly nice about this Georgian wine table is the furniture maker used a wonderful piece of solid mahogany timber for the top, showing all the natural detail of the grain, revealing the timbers full glory of the flame mahogany for everyone to admire. Usually these tops are made in veneer for stability. But when you turn it over and examine the underneath all the gnarly timber has a raw unfinished finish.
The centre of the top reveals the heart and magically creates an enhanced view of the flame mahogany making the table rare and unique due to its cut, and you will probably never see another again like this.
A very refined turned central column with a bobbin section top half with cabriole legs and feet. The underneath of the legs has been neatly braced with a cast iron plate shaped to the legs and has old nails in the centre.
When you explore the small detail you come to realise what a wonder piece of furniture this is and even more amazing it has survived. Now this isa story in itself.
One last bit of information 'it is signed underneath' in lovely italic handwriting, although difficult to read, it exists.

Furniture deliveries usually take an estimated 5 -10 working days, depending
