19th century rustic antique pine set of graduated drawers. Each drawer has the original brass key hold guides and lock. The top has a thumb molding edge detail oversailing the drawer frame. Three graduated drawers with two individual drawers over.
The cabinet maker used Rustic pine from the late 19th century using good solid timber with wide planks producing a well constructed and utilitarian piece of pine furniture. The graduated set of pine drawers has a wonderful two tone look. as the characterful drawer fronts are slighter than the body and frame work, adding an interesting feel and look.
With an abundance of character oozing from the timber making it stand out and more individual. Take a look a the the drawer fronts, someone has carefully selected the pine timber for added character. The large knots and especially the old dead and gnarly sections of pine timber sets it apart from the norm.
All original drawer boxes with fine dovetail joints, brass key hole guides and lock casings (no keys) straight stepped skirting and pine knobs showing years of use.
Plus, another nice feature often missed and overlooked! Each drawer has the original pine threaded drawer knobs. When you come across these treaded drawer knobs it takes the date of piece right back in time it makes it more authentic.

Condition: As you can imagine, our products have had a life before we got them, been used and cherished by many others before we received them. Therefore, you will see signs of ageing, dents, some minor losses, natural wear, fading & marks which create their unique look. Few losses in the drawer box bases, this aside a nice piece. Overall the condition is good and the condition is commensurate with its age. Unless specified ornaments or props shown are not included.
