A bank of drawers with a secret diary included...
This bank of twelve drawers has a secret diary written on the underneath of every drawer, it was a big wow moment when discovered. Written in pencil is a history of almost everyone who worked in this office or store or shop. It seams it was randomly written by the same person telling you dates and events in their lives. With the earliest date going back to 1801. Not too much intimate detail, just dates, initials, who was dating who, who got married or spliced as it was refereed back then. Fascinating reading and what a story it told over the centuries.
It is almost impossible to create this look, this just develops over time with use and the environment they reside in. Like a lot these banks of drawers they were often made from mahogany, incredibly well made, constructed to a high standard with brass flush mounted fittings and dovetail joints.
This bank of twelve (12) drawers has a beautiful wear, the most wonderful warm colour to the mahogany, and has an abundance of timeworn character across the simber on all three sides.
What I like is the wide drawer boxes that could be divided inside to create even more diverse storage, or left alone to enjoy as it is, the choice is yours. Large but conveniently shallow in depth

Condition: As you can imagine, our products have had a life before we got them, been used and cherished by many others before we received them.
