Description

This Anglo-Indian carved folding table is a striking example of late 19th-century colonial furniture, produced during the height of the British Raj in India. Crafted from dense teak hardwood and crowned with an embossed brass top, it demonstrates the fusion of Indian artisan skill with practical campaign-style design.

The circular brass surface is worked using traditional repoussé techniques, featuring finely detailed floral motifs, a rope-patterned border, and a beautifully scalloped recessed central dish.
