Edwardian Oak Three Tier Folding Cake Plant Stand

Three Tier Folding Cake Plant Stand - Edwardian Period

Interesting and Simple Idea!

Simply engineered, locking bracket behind the first shelf, fold away if not needed.

Although once used as a cake stand, as tea and cake was always served in the parlour in the early afternoon, very civilised indeed. I think it could easily be repurposed as a small plant stand, allowing you to have a flow of tiered plants hanging down over the edges.

Lovely patina to the wood and a very useful piece of furniture from the early 1900's.

Period: Circa 1910
