I think the No. 1 priority is comfort, followed closely by design and styling. Combine these two attributes and you have a winning formulae.
If space is at a premium in you kitchen then have a bench up against the wall keeps space well organized. Secondly have a back to the bench is a must, a shaped one even better. Comfort, comfort, comfort. Got to be every time.
Another really good idea, if you have the space, is placing one in the hall so guest and family can sit down and put their shoes on, or pull their boots up. Make life easy for everyone.
