Stunning & Substantial Metal Bound Victorian Oak Chest
A large Victorian metal bound oak chest with domed lid is an impressive, belt and braces piece. Full of character and definitely made to last a lifetime, but just how many? It still looks great.
Although the lid is domed it has the benefit of being broad so has a good expanse to use as a coffee table. Still having the benefit of good storage inside. When it arrived in it was unloved and in a sad state. With a little hard work and some restoration the chest has come up beautifully. Now its looking for a new home and someone to cherish it for the next few decades or more.
