Alabaster Pedestal Stand Circa Early 1900's

Beautifully veined Alabaster pedestal stand.

So hard to find nice ones in reasonable condition, this one is in remarkable condition considering being over 100 years old.

Although so similar to marble, especially Carrara marble, it has all the lovely veined detailing you come to expect of marble in an alabaster form.

Perfect for sculptures, statues or plants.

Comes in two sections the top plinth is removable.

Period: Early 1900's Edwardian Period
