A Painted and Glazed Wall Mounted Cabinet
The glazed cabinet has two doors opening to two fitted shelves which have a small upstand to the front of the shelves. The doors are hung with butt hinges with a sweet little latch to secure the doors. The base of the cabinet has a pelmet base so could be easily placed onto a worktop surface. The top of the cabinet has a curved cornice to finish the piece, with the back of the cabinet made with an elaborate panel back having the benefit of glass can be seen from the front. The cabinet exudes character being painted in an antiqued green paint with a rubbed aged finish.
This little cabinet has good weight to it, am not sure what wood it is made from. All the detailing around the panes of glass and the rest of the cabinet would be costly to have commissioned today.
Use to display treasured items anywhere in the home.
