Edwardian Over mantle Mirror
Edwardian Oak over mantle mirror c1901 – 1910 with a lovely curve to the frame, leading on to an inlaid frieze with intricate pieces of an unknown wood. There is then a gilded band bordering the mirror. The mirrored glass is intact and has a lovely character commensurate with age.
This mirror as the age would suggest has a couple of small bits of damage to the frame but does not detract from its appeal. Great above a chest of drawers or dressing table in a bedroom. Why not try in a living room above a mantel as the name suggests. Mirrors of all shapes and sizes bring depth and light to a room.
